Today's find
 

Hello all

It's been quite a while since I've been on here. I learn something with every thread I read.
I'm sure everyone else is like me and loves to get a good deal when they make pm purchases. This is the deal I got today:

3 standing liberty quarters
14 pre-65 washington quarters

They cost me a grand total of $4.25

The clerk at the local video store called me and asked if I wanted some walking liberty quarters. I said no but I'd take some standing liberty quarters. So I drove over there real fast and traded her some nice crisp FRNs for these and a few 1965s. Not a huge purchase, but one that will be pretty hard not to make a profit on. I guess this goes to show that there are still people out there who don't have a clue about real money. Oh yeah and the quarters were out of a hand wrapped roll from the bank, so people there are evidently clueless as well.

Great find.

Seems all I ever get is short changed.
I remember once going to Taco Bell when I was about 16 and they gave me change for a ten when I only gave them a five. I just stared at the girl thinking, she must want me.
She finally snapped out a, "WHAT?" and I told her I think you gave me to much money. Hard as it was to convince her she made a mistake she took the money I handed her back.
I never recall ever having a clerk tell me they shortchanged me. I have to make a spectacle of myself for bitching in the line as others behind me wait. You have to turn to the others waiting and point to the clerk and tell them to "watch her" they hate that. :offtopic: Why did I say all that?
